While the harvests of the third generation of CR-V are still being reaped, Honda has decided to bring forth a new generation in the upcoming model year. The 2016 Honda CR-V will be looking to carry forward the legacy that was created by its predecessor and make records in terms of sales figures all over the world. This compact SUV will be slightly refreshed to keep its popular body design similar, all the while improving the car in aspects of comfort, style and performance. Let’s find out what this upcoming release has to offer us.
2016 Honda CR-V – Exterior and Interior Design
The exterior of 2016 Honda CR-V will be refreshed to keep up with popular market demands. So, its body will receive sleeker new features along with modern cut lines to make it look more muscular. On its front, there is an updated bumper, redesigned headlights and bolder grille design to set the looks of this car apart from its predecessor. On the rear side, its taillights have been kept the same, but there is a more useful rear door. Moreover, the rear door has been designed in a way that it remains hidden to unsuspecting watchers. This car will ride with style on 17 inch alloy wheels that look excellent showing reflections from the car’s headlights. Changes make its way to the interior of 2016 Honda CR-V as well. The fabrics used to furnish the insides are now more soft and comfortable so that the passengers feel at home as soon as they step foot inside. Honda has brought their trademark Magic Seat arrangement to increase the car’s comfort quotient as well as allow more room for cargo. Not to mention, there will also be better head and legroom for all its 5 passengers. There is very little we know about technological enhancements of this car, but we expect some hi-tech features to get included like a 7 inch touch screen, navigation system, updated dashboard, 8 cup holders and rear-view camera. There will also be safety airbags to protect the passengers against any sort of collision.
