The engine types are: 3,0 liter turbo diesel V6 engine that can deliver around 275 hp, second one will have 3,0 liter twin-turbocharged V6 petrol unit that will produce 410 hp, and final 8 liter V8 engine that will deliver a horsepower of a whopping 540. The third engine type has been borrowed from Maserati’s own Quattroporte model and is also the most powerful one of the lot. All engines will be paired with either a 9-speed automatic gearbox, or ZF 8-speed auto transmission. Standard offering will be on all-wheels. 2016 Maserati Levante – Price and Release Date
The 2016 Maserati Levante will face stiff competition from other luxury brands such as BMW and Porsche. Its closest rivals based on performance are Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Range Rover Sport and BMW X6. Estimated price will likely range between $80,000 and $150,000, or so the recent reports say. The car was slated to be released this year, but due to some unforeseen circumstances, Maserati pushed back its date to sometime in 2016.
