2016 Nissan Qashqai will have a longer body that has extended by about 49 mm and provide lower ground clearance. It will have a bonnet design inspired by Clamshell and bear many similarities with its predecessor. 2016 Nissan Qashqai will come powered by two types of engines that offer versatility in every aspect to suit every desire of users. The first engine will be a 1.2 litre Inline-4 petrol unit that can produce 116 hp and torque of 140 lb-ft. Equipped with this engine, the vehicle has an acceleration rate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 11 seconds while reaching a top speed of 185 km/h. Petrol variant has a fuel economy rate of 41, 58, 50 mpg for city, highway and combined drive respectively. Both manual and auto transmission will be offered. Second in line is a 1.5 litre Inline-4 dCi engine producing highest of 110 hp and 190 lb-ft torque. This engine has a fuel consumption of 43 for city, 60 for highway and 46 for combined drive. Last engine variant is a 1.6 litre Inline-4 dCi unit delivering horsepower of 130 and 210 lb-ft of torque. Fuel consumption of this unit has been recorded at 54/66/50 for city/ highway drive/ combined drive.

2016 Nissan Qashqai is to be the third generation of crossover that is expected to become available on sale by the end of 2015. The Price of this car should be around 26,500 Euros to $30,000 for the base model.
