The Lincoln MKC was first introduced on the market in 2014. The compact premium crossover is famous for its impressive exterior and luxurious interior. The American car manufacturer is planning to launch a new model, expected to go with the name 2017 Lincoln MKC.
2017 Lincoln MKC – Special Features:
The new MKC will be based on the Ford Global C platform. Ford Escape and Ford Kuga are built upon this platform. So you can expect the upcoming Lincoln car to share a lot of features with these two models. We are looking forward to two engine choices in the new MKC. The standard engine will be a 2.0-liter I4 with a capacity of 240 hp and 270 lb-ft. The other engine is a 2.3-liter I4 rated at 285 hp and 305 lb-ft. The two engines will be paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
According to the carmaker, the engines will be upgraded to improve on their fuel economy and environment friendliness. The car will record 21 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. It will also give out lesser emission, polluting the environment less.
2017 Lincoln MKC – Estimated Arrival, Price and Competition:
The new MKC is expected to suit budgets of many users of luxury crossovers. The car is fairly priced considering all its offerings. You will be required to pay $34,000 to own one. Two trim levels will be offered: Select and Reserve. The price of the top trims will be around $41,000. The crossover will be released in the second half of 2016.
