New infotainment system will be implemented in 8-inch touchscreen. The Escalade’s audio system will contain 16 Bose Centerpoint speakers.

Aside from luxury, new 2018 Cadillac Escalade will offer plenty safety features. All trims will arrive with front and rear parking sensors, including an automatic parking assistant. The automatic crash response, a surround-view camera system, and a rear seat reminder feature will also be a part of the standard equipment. For some extra cash, a new owner can also receive Lane Change Alert, Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist and Low-Speed Forward Automatic Braking.

The new 2018 Escalade will have a 6.2-liter V8 engine under the hood. Matched with the new 10-speed automatic transmission it will deliver 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. With the new transmission, the fuel consumption will be slightly better and now will be 14/23 mpg city/highway for the model with rear-wheel drive. With the AWD consumption will be 14/21 mpg. The towing power will also be better. The new SUV can now tow almost 8,500 pounds.


The new 2018 Cadillac Escalade Platinum is now available at dealerships. The base price of this model starts at $86,900 and it can go up to $90,370 if you decide to purchase new Escalade 4WD 4dr Premium Luxury model.
