2018 Honda CRV – Body and Innovations:

Based on the spy shots spreading throughout the internet, it is true to say that this model will get a larger front fender. The rear and front lights will be redesigned while the front grille will be enlarged and made a bit more aggressive. The bumpers and hood are also expected to undergo significant improvements.

Given that the overall body size of the model will be increased, the interior room is expected to increase drastically. The ideal motive for redesigning the interior is to get enough space to comfortably accommodate passengers and provide enough leg room and more cabin space. Honda has promised to use superior finishing materials and better trims. The 2018 Honda CRV model will also offer a range of ultramodern equipment among which are ventilation and massage functions, full-color instrument panel, three zone control system, top-notch media system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and adjustable front seats.

2018 Honda CRV – Engine and Associated Details:

Honda is yet to provide sufficient information about the particular engine options that will be used to power new model. However, looking at how Honda has recently adopted the use of turbocharged engines in most of their recently released Sedans and SUVs, it’s likely that the model will be powered by a turbocharged engine. The most likely engine option to be used is the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder with 185 hp and 181 lb-ft. If this engine is used, the productivity is expected to be higher than that of the current engine option. As for power transmission system, Honda CRV will use a continuously variable automatic transmission. Honda plans to offer this CRV model in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options. The EPA city/highway fuel economy will be 27/34 mpg (FWD), 26/33 mpg (AWD).

2018 Honda CRV – Date of Arrival and Price:

The exact date when the Honda CRV will be released is still unknown. The upcoming 2018 Honda CRV will be ready for sale at the end of 2017. The prices of this Honda CRV model aren’t going to differ much from those of the current model. That means you should expect the cost of the front-wheel drive versions to start at a price $24, 645. The all-wheel drive versions are going to be higher with the price of $ 34, 295.
