Honda HR-V Modulo News

The Honda HR-V Modulo was first spotted at the 2014 Indonesia International Motor Show. This car is actually an accessorized variant of Honda HR-V. The same thing applies to Honda HR-V Mugen. The subcompact crossover is designed for the Asian markets, but may soon be available for other markets like American. The American Honda division is expected to start producing Modulo for the American people.

You will easily identify the new Honda car with its chrome look. The Japanese automobile manufacturer will use classy colors that will make the car stand out and draw more attention. Approximated car dimensions include 170 inches length, 70 inches width, and 65 inches height. It will have a 105-inch wheelbase.

You will definitely love the front side of Honda HR-V Modulo. This side will feature a stylish grille, a lower garnish, and a well-positioned Modulo emblem. Honda HR-V Modulo – Engine Expectations and Performance:

Under the hood of the new Honda HR-V Modulo, there will be a 1.8-liter E I4 Modulo engine. This engine can produce 141 hp and 126 lb-ft at 6,500 rpm and 4,300 rpm respectively, and it will come with 16 valves and a displacement of 1,798 ccs.
Paired with a continuous variable transmission (CVT), the powertrain is expected to offer smoother rides and a better fuel efficiency. We also expect the Earth Dreams Technology to feature in the powertrain. The car will use a four-wheel drive.
If you care a lot about speed, the crossover will have a top speed of 125 mph. It will be able to attain 60 mph from the zero mark in 10.0 seconds. Expect to spend less for fuel because the car will offer better fuel efficiency. Fuel consumption will be around 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway.

Honda HR-V Modulo – Pricing and Competition:

The Honda crossover will be offered at a starting price of $27,090. If you want to buy a refurbished model, be ready to part with more than this price. Concerning the release date, we are looking forward to seeing Modulo in American showrooms from the second half of 2016.
