Opel Mokka has a primary VVT 1.6L turbo charged petrol engine capable enough of generating 115 hp whereas the standard 1.7L turbo charged power train can offer up to 140 hp. There is another power train 1.7L diesel engine which could generate up to 130 hp and torque up to 320 nm. The new engine will run on CDTI technology. There has been the significant drop in the weight of turbo diesel engine. The entire power train engine has qualified the Euro 5 emission standards. The power train has been paired with 6-speed power transmission that sends the power to its front wheels. Although primarily designed as front wheel driving there is an optional all wheel drive that features front transverse engine placement.

The Opel Mokka is expected to hit the market in the middle of 2017. Although there hasn’t been any official confirmation regarding the price of Opel Mokka 2017 but is expected to cost around $ 26,000. For the UK market, the car will be known as Vauxhall Mokka.
